
I'm pretty much updating every part of the SP, I haven't gotten to the vs screen yet but I'll get there. It looks awesome in motion and the new portraits really pop I've greatly updated the win screen which now allows for some transparency on the bottom of the screen. what do you guys think? should I make this the default select screen? If so what characters should be added as the visible 4 extra characters? This is a tentative idea, I don't know if i should implement this select screen because it will require both versions of saiki for mugen and obviously they are not out yet. Since they are straight rips it looks a lot cleaner than before, I should have put a comparison pic but whatever. I changed the large portraits, changed the center logo, changed the countdown numbers in the center, changed the floor, changed the circles under the sprites, and changed the background, and bunch of other things. I don't think you guys will notice but since I have all of the official parts from the game I have extensively updated the select screen.

If you guys remember it is the same as the last version of this SP with adel next to ash. This is my current select screen that resembles the kofxiii select screen. Same idea as the title screen except I used pics from NGBC xbox to show that this will include more characters than kofxiii I modeled this title screen off of the updated japanese kofxiii website. Now I know that the real KOFXIII has just the logo and a start screen but it's just boring. Even KOF 2002 UM had a few reused fighter/striker sprites from previous games, and yet they were still edited to blend in with the rest of the level and not have as much detail, due to their distance:The last Title screen was WAY too plain and it just didn't work for me. It doesn't, it stands out like an overdetailed eyesore and doesn't blends with the stage at all. It's a very common mistake that a lot of people tend to mess up with, because the common reasoning for it is just "paste the character sprite in there and it'll look good". So might as well just download the un-edited characters and have fun with them instead the most fun i had was form using and fighting characters i already had in my mugen (like, that was totally ironmugen's kim, right? i recognize that annoying ai also, iron's yuri " sabisu sabisu~"). yuo say some changes have been made but they were nothing i noticed other than the DM's etc (are those even still popular, heck kofxi came out 11 years ago. why not use visuals from the kof94 HD version? (i'll assume a response like "it's for a nostalgic feeling" rather than "no one has ripped it yet so ti was easier to edit what was available") probabbly to prevent people from taking stuff without permission and making their own games amirite? in that case it should be either in the select screen or hidden a bit lower you can see the top of the random select icon below. this game reminded me how much i hate the china team
